Adah's Stairway

Haight Ashbury

This quiet stairway is named after Adah Bakalinsky^{1https://www.yiddishbookcenter.org/collections/oral-histories/interviews/woh-fi-0000370/adah-bakalinsky-2013}, who moved to San Francisco when she was 50 years old and loved the hills and stairs so much she wrote one of the best walking guides to the city^{2https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/233171.Stairway_Walks_in_San_Francisco}.
Follow these stairs up to Buena Vista Park.
