Condor Club

North Beach

The site of the world's first documented topless and bottomless performance, Condor Club opened in 1958, but did not became famous until 1964, when Carol Doda wore a monokini for her performance here. Ms Doda made history again with her bottomless performance in 1969. She was lowered from the ceiling on a grand white piano, that became a death trap for a distracted couple in 1983.
