This Dutch Colonial Revival mansion designed by Walter Danforth Bliss in 1895, served as Lana Turner’s residence in the 1960 film Portrait in Black. It is a neo‑Georgian, gambrel‑roofed brick house turned on end to showcase the gable roof profile that features prominently in the hair-raising escape scene.
