In 1968 Bullitt this is the home of ambitious politician Walter Chalmers (Robert Vaughn), who hopes to bring down Chicago mobster Pete Ross (Vic Tayback) with the aid of key witness Johnny Ross (Pat Renella), Pete's brother.
