This 1883 Victorian is the actual Tanner family home from Full House (ABC, 1987-1995) — not the Painted Ladies along Steiner Street at Alamo Square, which appear only in the opening credits. The confusion is perennial. Show creator Jeff Franklin bought the house in 2018 for $4 million and spent another $2 million restoring it to match the on-screen version; it sold again in 2025 for $6 million. Interior scenes were filmed at Warner Bros. studios in Los Angeles.
