Stanyan House

Charles Stanyan, San Francisco supervisor from 1866 to 1869 bought this house in Boston and had it shipped around Cape Horn. It was erected here in 1854 and remained in the Stanyan family for over a century. This is one of 10 surviving 1850s houses in San Francisco.
